Uncorking the blog

Greetings! I'm not really sure where this blog is going to lead me, nor do I know if I will even maintain it. It could end up a life long companion or a one night stand...Here comes the fun part!
I guess my initial post should probably be a quick trip down memory lane to get us to this point moving forward. Born in Batesville, Arkansas 8 February 1985. No memories from the really early years, but pictures and home videos prove that I was both fat and for the most part happy. My grades in school weren't exactly exemplary, but were good enough to stay out from under Momma's foot usually. I was a Boy Scout but didn't really enjoy the outdoors until I was old enough to explore them in a manner not reflective of the Oath. I loved playing basketball growing up, but abandoned the idea of playing professionally when my social agenda and high school practice schedule began to disagree. So much for that idea. Sometime in my early teens my Grandfather became my hero, and in the few years I had with him I learned more shit about more shit than in any other period of my life thus far. After high school came college, and as of present that is where I sit....That's been seven years. In those seven years I've been to several schools, sank a truck, laughed at my own expense on more than one occasion, discovered a passion for tattoos, found a girl, lived in another state, and moved back home.
That should just about bring anyone reading this up to speed. Again, from here we will see where it goes.
