LIFE MODEL MY ASS

Winter's grasp is growing stronger here in the Ozarks. The lights are shining bright on our trees.....all 3 of them, and Santa is no doubt checking his list. As 2009 winds down and another year moves closer, I have started to do a little reflecting. This year had its bright spots for certain-namely the birth of my nephew Erik and the opportunity to put another one in the books with B. When I start to look for some sense of personal accomplishment, this year differs very little form years past...There isn't just a whole fucking lot to see. I still don't have a college degree (and for that matter still have serious doubts about rather or not a college degree is actually the golden ticket everyone seems to think it is). The changing of regimes in our government did not lead me to find anymore belief in the system itself. My questions with regard to religion and faith remain unanswered. There are no doubt more adventures ahead, more things to see, and some of the previously mentioned issues and questions to be resolved and answered, but these things will have to wait for the Ball to fall.
